How To Choose The Best Apple iPad For Your Use

How to Choose the Best Apple iPad

Buying an iPad should be simple; Apple sells four main iPad models, each with its strengths. There are a growing number of iPads floating around the eBays of the world, and it’s important to know what you’re buying, such as the best iPads available, the differences between each model, and how to choose the best apple iPad.

A Good iPad

Apple iPad (10.2-Inch, 2019)

Apple’s most affordable tablet is a slight refresh, except now there’s support for the Apple Pencil, first-generation. Apple didn’t update the processor, it has the same A10 Fusion chip, but the iPad should have no trouble running most apps. You will like the small 0.5-inch bump in screen size from 9.7 inches to 10.2, which is half an inch taller. The only downside, it has a bit more space between glass and screen than the iPad Air, and Pro.

A Better iPad

Apple iPad Air (10.5-Inch, 2019)

The 2019 iPad Air adds a faster A12 Bionic processor in 10.5-inch iPad Pro to choose the best Apple iPad for your use. Moreover, it’s the same size as every iPad, with more screen space than the new 10.2-inch default iPad. If you’re a fan of Touch ID, this is Apple’s most powerful iPad that still has a home button and sensor. It’s compatible with the standard Apple Pencil, and its laminated screen places closer to the pixels than on the standard iPad.

The Ultimate iPad

Apple iPad Pro (11 or 12.9-inch, 2020)

The iPad Pro is the best iPad, unlike the others; it doesn’t have a home button but uses the front camera for Face ID. It has slimmer edges around the screen, which allows for a larger display that comes in 12.9-inches about the size of a magazine. It’s wonderful for drawing with the Apple Pencil, but the 11-inch model is plenty for most people. The Pencil is different from the one for other iPads, it magnetically sticks to the edge of the iPad Pro and charges.

Best for Travel

Apple iPad Mini (7.9-Inch, 2019)

Apple finally updated the iPad Mini with a speedy A12 Bionic processor; it’s identical to the old iPad Mini 4. The 8-inch screen, which is perfect for smaller hands, and its thin and laminated display, makes it an ideal tablet for writing.

For the Right Price

The Apple iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, iPad Mini 4

The iPad Mini 4, and iPad Air 2 are no longer sold by Apple. But if you find them refurbished, they’ll serve you right. However, don’t expect any of them to be your forever iPad, but they should last for a couple of years. They aren’t compatible with the Apple Pencil. But if you find them for less than $200, they might be worth a gander. The standard iPad from 2019 hovers around $250 when it is on sale. If you see a Mini 4 for less, it may be worth it.

Avoid these iPads!

Apple iPad 1-4, iPad Mini 1-3, iPad Air

Many of the older iPads receive software updates, and they’ll seem slow compared to your phone. The Mini 1 iPad 1-2 have very low-res screens.
